Looks like it works. The upload direct to Blogger feature from my brand new SonyEricsson w890 phone linked to www.designheir.com works like a charm. All I had to do was:
1. Snap a picture
2. Send / Blogger
3. Logged on to http://go.blogger.com
4. Entered the code and the blog automatically appeared
Then a few more steps to change the CNAME for my domain to point to google servers.
